Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan, Gaya Hidup, dan Financial Self-Efficacy terhadap Perilaku Pengelolaan Keuangan Ibu Rumah Tangga di Desa Gejlig Kabupaten Pekalongan
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial self-efficacy on the financial management behavior of housewives in Gejlig Village. Financial management behavior is an important aspect in household life, especially in ensuring family financial stability. The financial literacy factor plays a role in increasing an individual's understanding of financial management, while lifestyle reflects consumption habits that can influence financial decisions. Meanwhile, financial self-efficacy contributes to a person's confidence in making wise financial decisions. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 91 housewives as respondents selected using the simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using multiple SPSS 15 to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed that financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on the financial management behavior of housewives. Lifestyle also had a negative and significant effect, indicating that increasing consumption patterns could affect poor financial management. In addition, financial self-efficacy contributed positively and significantly to increasing the confidence of housewives in managing family finances. Simultaneously, the three independent variables had a significant effect on the financial management behavior of housewives.
