Pesantren Go Digital dengan Menciptakan Kemandirian Melalui Model Integrasi Pendidikan, Kewirausahaan, dan Ekonomi Berbasis Islami
Abstract
Nowadays, pesantren are not only educational institutions for learning religious knowledge, some pesantren have transformed in order to keep up with the times. Pesantren are required to be independent in order to be able to finance the operations and development of pesantren which include facilities and supporting facilities in it. The majority of pesantren in Parung Panjang sub-district are pure salaf-based pesantren which only focus on studying religious sciences, some pesantren are not even recorded. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on several pesantren that have implemented digitalisation in the education system and economy. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of related documents. Pesantren Nurul Falah is one example of a pesantren that has successfully adopted self-reliance with technology. They manage the minimarket (NF Mart) by implementing a cashless payment system through cooperation with startups. In addition, this pesantren provides entrepreneurship training for santri, such as welding training, livestock, fish farming, and minimarket management. The importance of fostering awareness of economic independence in order to create independence in pesantren-based educational institutions, several ways can be taken, namely by providing an entrepreneurship curriculum to students, sending some alumni to entrepreneurship education, establishing potential business units in the pesantren environment, and applying for PKM by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that pesantren leaders have a very important and crucial role in this matter because as stakeholders and policy makers.
