Sahaja: Journal Sharia and Humanities (p-ISSN: 2964-7096 and e-ISSN: 2829-9396) is published twice a year, March and September by University of Darunnajah Jakarta. This journal concentrates on research pertaining to sharia (Islamic law) and humanitarian concerns. Grounded in a vision of professionalism, reliability, and a global outlook in the advancement of Islamic legal sciences, alongside a mission to address contemporary challenges related to Islamic law and humanity, this initiative aims to promote the culture of scientific inquiry, particularly in sharia (Islamic law), and to bolster the development of scientific methodologies in both sharia and humanitarian studies. Its scope about (Family Law, Islamic Family Law, Family study, Legal Drafting of Islamic Civil Law, Customary Law, Sociological Law, Marriage and Gender, Islamic Courts, Islamic Inheritance Law).

Sahaja: Journal Sharia and Humanities published by University of Darunnajah Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a biannual publication released in March and September to advance innovative scientific research. We welcome contributions globally. Our Editorial Team and Reviewers are of national researchers engaged in sharia and humanitarian concerns, guaranteeing an efficient, equitable, and constructive peer review process. All accepted papers will be published without article processing fees and will be accessible to all readers, ensuring global visibility and coverage. Submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism detection via Turnitin, with a maximum allowable threshold of 30 percent.

Sahaja: Journal Sharia and Humanities has been indexed/registered in Garuda, Google Scholar, ROAD, Scilit, Dimensions and Crossref.

Journal History

Sahaja: Journal Sharia and Humanities was founded in 2022 by Darunnajah Islamic College Jakarta (STAI Darunnajah), and in 2022 changed to University of Darunnajah Jakarta, Indonesia. Obtain the print ISSN (2964-7096) and the online ISSN (2829-9396) from 2022, issued by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). The inaugural issue was released in March 2022. Every paper from 2022 possesses a Digital Object Identifier (DOI: 10.61159/sahaja). This journal was Crossref member since the year 2022.

This journal has revised the design of the journal page and template compared to the previous version. and In March 2025, the journal will apply for Sinta accreditation.
