Electronic Filing

Sahaja: Journal Sharia and Humanities keeps all of its published content in electronic form and takes steps to make sure it stays available to readers over the long term.

Online archive

All published issues are available in open access in the journal’s Archives. Each article is published in full text (PDF) and remains permanently accessible at its original web address.

Persistent identifiers

Every article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, of which the journal has been a member since 2022. The DOI always points to the article’s current location, so citations and links continue to work even if the website address changes.

Digital preservation

[CEK: pilih dan isi hanya yang benar-benar aktif]

  • The journal’s content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which keeps copies of the journal’s issues in a distributed network of preservation servers, so that the content can be restored if it becomes unavailable.
  • Backup copies of the journal’s database and files are made regularly by the publisher, Universitas Darunnajah, and stored separately from the main server.

Author self-archiving

In line with the journal’s Copyright Notice and License (CC BY 4.0), authors retain copyright and are permitted and encouraged to deposit their work in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other repositories, before, during, and after submission, with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal and a link to the DOI.

Indexing and discoverability

The journal’s metadata is made available to indexing and discovery services, as listed on the Abstracting and Indexing page.
