Post-Publication Discussion

Scholarly discussion continues after an article is published. Sahaja: Journal Sharia and Humanities welcomes comments, critiques, questions, and suggested corrections from readers about the articles it has published.

How to take part

  • Send your comment to the editorial office at sahaja@darunnajah.ac.id with the subject line “Post-Publication Comment”, stating the article title and DOI.
  • Comments should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia, be concise, and give your full name and institutional affiliation.

What we look for

  • Comments must be constructive, evidence-based, and respectful. Personal attacks and defamatory statements are not accepted.
  • They should address the content, data, methods, or conclusions of the published article.

How comments are handled

  1. The editorial office reviews the comment and may consult the Editorial Board or independent reviewers.
  2. The authors of the article are invited to respond.
  3. Where the exchange adds value to the scholarly record, the comment and the authors’ reply may be published online and linked to the original article. The journal is not obliged to publish every comment received.
  4. If the discussion reveals an error, the journal acts according to the Correction and Retraction policy.

Concerns about suspected misconduct should be sent through the Allegation of Research Misconduct channel rather than as a public comment.
