About the Journal

Proceeding of International Conference on Pesantren (ICOP) is an open-access proceeding that contributes to advancing knowledge in the fields of Islamic boarding school education, Islamic education, and Islamic boarding school management. The Proceeding of International Conference on Islamic Boarding School (ICOP) is published by Universitas Darunnajah Jakarta, providing an opportunity for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share empirical, theoretical, and integrative reviews of research literature and practices within Islamic boarding schools, thus producing scholarly works that are publishable and relevant to their respective fields.

The Proceeding of International Conference on Islamic Boarding School (ICOP) publishes scholarly articles that have been presented at the international conference, published annually in May. The published articles consist of research findings or literature studies in the fields of Islamic boarding school education, Islamic law, Islamic boarding school management, and the development of Islamic boarding school curricula. The articles contain accurate, clear information and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Islamic education, particularly in the context of development and innovation within Islamic boarding schools.
